Our school office is manned by Mrs Penfold and Mrs Norton. The office is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm every day. A telephone answering service is in operation outside these hours. Any message left will be responded to as soon as possible. Our first priority is to support your children and should there be any changes of circumstances at home which might affect your child at school, please let us know.
We would appreciate it if any correspondence for staff be handed to the school secretary in the office. Please mark clearly the envelope with the child’s name, class and the activity to which it relates.
Book Bags – please check your child’s book bag DAILY as important messages are often sent home in this way. However, e-mail is now our preferred method of communication. E-mail is beneficial because messages get to you quicker and more reliably! We can also send emails to multiple recipients all at once e.g. Mums and Dads!
From time to time, we can get cases of head lice in school. Please inform the office who will send out a note to remind parents to check their child’s hair.
We hope that your child will enjoy coming to school and that as a parent, you will be happy and satisfied with your child’s education.
If you have a concern about anything at school, please discuss this first with the class teacher and then if there is still a problem with the Head of School. Time will always be given to listening to you and any concerns will be taken seriously. We will attempt to offer solutions to resolve the problem.
If you feel that a complaint has not been handled satisfactorily by the school, you may wish to make a formal complaint. Details of the protocols and procedures can be found in the school office or on our website.
