Week 3

Note:  if this is your first time having a go at my Highland Dancing, then please go back to Week 1 and start from there.  Don’t worry, if you enjoy it and practise you will soon catch up to where we are now.  Happy dancing!

Hi there, hope you have all been enjoying the lovely weather and practising the first two steps of the Highland Fling.  Remember, don’t worry if it takes you time to get the hang of it, just keep practising and you’ll be highland dancing in no time.

This week we are going to be continuing with putting the first and second steps of the Highland Fling together (the shedding step and the toe heel step) so you can go away and practise the two steps to the music, while also trying to include the arms.  If you would like to, why not get a parent to video you practising and send it to me; I would love to see it.

Here is the link to the YouTube highland fling if you would like the music to practise to.

Have a look at this link if you want to see how you’ll be able to do the fling soon!
