Planting Poppy Seeds to mark the WW1 Centenary.
Sat 31 May 2014Children across the school have sprinkled poppy seeds at the front of the school grounds as a symbol of remembrance and respect of past and present Service Personnel. Every year as they flower they will remind us of the sacrifices made for us by so many Servicemen and Women. Many thanks to our PTFA for the donations of Poppy seeds. We shall be collecting donations for the Royal British Legion throughout Term 6. -
Hilltop 2014 has arrived!
Thu 15 May 2014The children arrived after a smooth journey and have had a super time so far! Everyone is enjoying the Hilltop food... and everyone slept very well on their first night, including the teachers! Here are a few photos for you from Miss Rowe, more will follow!

Africa Day Success!
Mon 24 Feb 2014The whole school enjoyed a special African themed day to mark the start of 'Fair Trade Fortnight' which commences today. The children learnt all about 'Fair Trade' in Africa during our assembly and then participated in workshops throughout the day, featuring dance, music, drama, story telling and dressing up. Our grateful thanks to the PTFA and parental donations received, allowing us to provide our children with this worthwhile opportunity. -

WE APOLOGISE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE THIS WILL UNDOUBTABLY CAUSE BUT WE HOPE TO GET THE PROBLEM RESOLVED AND BE OPEN AS NORMAL TOMORROW. OUR GRATEFUL THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND SUPPORT IN THESE RARE, UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES.
The school electricity supply is being transferred to a generator for the rest of the week, so school will be open as usual tomorrow (Friday). -
School will be open on Friday January 10th
