Term 4 - Welcome Back

Hi All,

I hope you had a great half term break.

Please find attached this term's overview and the the key knowledge that we will be learning. In science we will be discovering more about forces and completing a number of experiments to develop our understanding  

- PE will be on Monday and Thursdays.
- Enrichment this term will be Computing with myself. 

- Please remember to bring in your trombones every Thursday for the lesson with Mr Turnball.

Term 3 - Happy New year.

Hi All,

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year.

Please find attached this term's overview and the the key knowledge that we will be learning. Our Geography unit this term is looking at climate change and understanding it's impact on the world around us. 

We will also be starting our exciting music unit with Mr Turnball and by the end of next term be performing using our trombones. 

- PE will be on Tuesday and Wednesdays.
- Enrichment this term will be Art with Mrs Morton.

Term 2 - Welcome Back.

Hi All,

I hope you have all had an fun filled half term.

We have got a busy term ahead of us including the Remembrance day service, Christmas writing and DT project. 

I have attached the first terms overview for you below. Our topic will be focussed on making comparisons between Rutland and the Peak District.

- PE will be on Monday and Thursdays.
- Enrichment in the first term will be Scratch. 

All the children will need to bring with them is a water bottle for inside the classroom. I will provide all of the stationary needed. Children may wish to bring in a pair of outside trainers / wellies for break and lunchtimes if they wish to go on the field.

Hi All,

I hope you have all had an amazing summer and made lots of memories.

We have got a fantastic year ahead of us with lots of events happening including our residential to Willersey Castle in Derbyshire and many other exciting opportunities. 

I have attached the first terms overview for you below. Our topic will be focussed on the effects of World War II on Rutland.

- PE will be on Tuesday and Wednesdays.
- Enrichment in the first term will be a project with Mr Alfieri.

All the children will need to bring with them is a water bottle for inside the classroom. I will provide all of the stationary needed. Children may wish to bring in a pair of outside trainers / wellies for break and lunchtimes.
