Ask your child about...
What a busy couple of mornings we have had together and already the first week is over! What a great achievement for our delightful children and a big well done to their mums, dads and carers too! The class have all settled in so very well and have coped brilliantly with the new routines and procedures that we have introduced so far! Ask your child to tell you about the 'bossy bell', 'Fred the Frog', 'the listening chair', 'my turn, your turn', a 'marshmallow clap' and a 'whooosh'!! Just some of the things we have been introducing this week!
Today the children were all given a new water bottle that they will bring home every day. If we could ask you to rinse it through each night and return it to school empty, we will ensure they are filled and topped up throughout the day with fresh water. We will endeavour to return them to you 'empty' to ensure spillages in bags do not occur!
Also, we encourage the children to bring home a 'bedtime story' from school to share with you each evening. This may be returned and changed as frequently as your child wishes and is completely their own free choice.
We hope you all enjoy a wonderful weekend together and we look forward to seeing you all for our first full week of mornings next week! Don't forget the new pick up time for next week is 1.30pm and your child will require either a packed lunch from home or have a hot lunch in school.
