Today is the start of the Jewish festival Hannukah. This festival of light begins this evening (Saturday 8th) and lasts for 8 days. The children in class 1 have been learning about some of the traditions to do with Hannukah. They also enjoyed looking at some real Jewish artefacts. Many of the children chose to make a beautiful 'Star of David' which you can see hanging up in our classroom! Happy Hannukah!
