The children are really enjoying our topic 'helping hands' this term and steered our learning towards the role of a chef. They thoroghly enjoyed preparing all the vegetables for our chinese restaurant but wanted to know more about what chefs do. So we decided to invite our school chef into our class and interviewed him! The children came up with some fantastic questions like 'how tall is your hat?', 'how many bowls and plates do you have?', 'how much food do you waste every day?' and 'do you shop at Tesco's?'!! Our grateful thanks to our chef for giving up his valuable time to help us to learn!
