Our chicks!
What an egg-citing start to our term we have had with the hatching out of our baby chicks! The children patiently waited and watched closely for signs of life and we have to say we had just about given up hope! First to arrive was 'Charlie', closely followed by 'Lola'. Finally our third chick hatched and the children named it 'Sizzles'. They reliably inform us that this is the name of a character from Charlie and Lola - no pun intended! The children have had such a special time caring for our three little friends and watching them develop. We have now said goodbye to the chicks as they have moved to a new home in Mrs. Lyons garden so rest assured, we will receive regular updates of their progress! Egg-cellent news!
